The Green Youth calls for improvements to the coalition negotiations - and expresses an indirect threat to the party leadership.
But there are also unrest in their own ranks.
Berlin - During the coalition negotiations between the SPD, FDP and the Greens, the first interim results were negotiated.
The parties' working groups presented these to their party leaderships on Wednesday (November 3rd).
But not everyone was satisfied with the results: there should be unrest, especially in the ranks of the Greens.
The Green Youth even indirectly threatened to reject the traffic light.
The youth organization sees room for improvement in the areas of climate protection and social policy in particular: "We expect the coalition negotiations to finally make politics in the interests of all those groups that have been forgotten over and over again in recent years," said federal spokeswoman Sarah-Lee Heinrich in an interview with the

.
Climate protection and social policy: Green youth sees a need for improvement in traffic light plans
Heinrich criticized the coalition partners for not giving poor or low-income people enough consideration.
Timon Dzienus, second federal spokesman for the Green Youth, does not go far enough with the climate protection plans of the traffic light explorations: It is not enough to announce the coal phase-out by 2030.
"The coalition has to describe the way there precisely, so: By when and how many gigawatts have to be off the grid?" Demanded Dzienus.
For additional burdens from climate protection, money must be repaid to the citizens, demanded the top duo of the Green Youth.
"As Green Youth, we will not support a CO2 price increase without social compensation," emphasized Heinrich.
And the party’s youngsters also see potential in the basic child security required by the Greens.

should vote
on the coalition agreement

The Green Youth sees support for their demands in their own party.
However, public pressure must also be directed at the FDP and SPD.
“Our goal is to come to an agreement that can be accepted.
But if in the end there is an alliance that essentially makes Groko politics, another Groko is more honest, ”says Heinrich.
Not only the Green Youth criticized the previous exploratory paper: As the
editorial network Germany
reported, there are also unrest in the ranks of the party.
The reason in particular are the passages on climate protection.
However, climate protection is not the only issue on which the traffic light coalition could fail: The negotiations have already stalled because the Greens and FDP disagree on asylum policy.
