Berlin - Chancellor Angela Merkel * has spoken out in favor of tightening the corona rules, according to media reports.
In the CDU federal executive committee, the (still) chancellor called for “severe restrictions for unvaccinated people”, according to ntv.
Merkel justifies her position with the exponential increase in the number of corona infections.
It was initially not entirely clear which measures, according to Merkel, should apply.
The CDU politician is said to have spoken of daily corona tests at work for unvaccinated people.
The restrictions could also go beyond the 2G model.

Corona in Germany: Incidence falls for the first time - 10,813 new cases
