She was then immediately taken out of the house.

The officers then called the parents and only said: "There is someone here who would like to speak to you ...".

On the way to the hospital, Cleo was reunited with her parents.

"She just yelled, 'Mummy! Then there were tons of tears and hugs," Blaine recalled.

The family also comes from the village.

The government of the state of Western Australia offered a reward of one million Australian dollars (around 650,000 euros) for clues leading to the girl's being found.

Cleo has been missing since October 16.

With her mother, her partner and her little sister, she was at a campsite on the coast near Macleod, around 900 kilometers north of the regional capital Perth.

There, according to her own statement, the mother noticed around 6 a.m. that the blonde girl had disappeared from the family tent with her sleeping bag.

"Australian Maddie" freed from the house: Police arrest suspects - parents overjoyed

The sympathy was huge - not just in Australia.

On Instagram, people from Scotland, the USA and Germany, among others, tried to encourage the family.

The case aroused many memories of the mysterious disappearance of the then four-year-old doctor's daughter Madeleine "Maddie" McCann, who disappeared from a hotel complex in Portugal in 2004 and has been missing since then.

Ellie Smith, the girl's mother, announced on her Instagram account that Cleo was safely found.

She provided her post with the sentence: "Our family is whole again" (German: Our family is whole again).
