The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, discussed today with the Head of the Education Department at the UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut, Hana Bouchemo, ways to develop cooperation between the two sides and future projects that support educational aspects in schools.
Minister Tabbaa pointed out the importance of cooperation and work to provide support for students who have dropped out of schools, secure their education through the category B curriculum, and train them in one of the professions that qualify them to open their own project, in addition to supporting the rehabilitation of schools, stressing the ministry's focus on enhancing students' life skills and extracurricular activities in schools.
In turn, Bushimo indicated the organization's readiness to secure continued support for teacher training, provision of remedial lessons for students, and cooperation in other areas such as life skills and social emotional learning, which is an important step that helps build students' personality and future.
