The Democratic Republic of Korea condemned the recent terrorist bombing in Damascus, stressing that its position is consistent in opposing and denouncing all forms of terrorism.
The DPRK embassy in Damascus clarified in a statement that the DPRK is fully confident that heinous and cowardly terrorist plots of all kinds cannot prevent Syria's efforts to combat terrorism and advance reconstruction under the wise Syrian leadership.
The embassy added that the DPRK will always stand by the Syrian government and people in its just struggle to protect the country's sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
A terrorist bombing with explosive devices targeted a military overnight bus in Damascus last month, killing 14 people and wounding a number of people.
