As of today, four young men will have to answer for attempted manslaughter before the Halle district court.
The public prosecutor's office also accuses them of dangerous bodily harm, as a court spokesman said.
Halle - According to the indictment, they are said to have injured a man at a tram stop in Halle in May 2020 with knocks and kicks - including in the head - to the point of unconsciousness.
According to the public prosecutor's office, they at least accepted the man's killing.
The four accused have not yet commented on this.
The investigators assume that the four young men did not know the future victim.
There was a dispute at the stop.
The district court has scheduled further hearings until November 26th.
If convicted, the defendants face up to ten years' imprisonment.
