Mindelheim / Ottobeuren - From tomorrow, Thursday, November 4, the corona situation will also worsen again at the Mindelheim and Ottobeuren clinics.
As the clinic association announced today, visits will again be prohibited from tomorrow.
There are only a few exceptions.
"The current development of the corona pandemic with increasing incidence values and cases of illness and quarantine among our employees prompted us to once again issue a general ban on visits to the clinics in Mindelheim and Ottobeuren from Thursday," explains company spokesman Christian Wucherer.
Exceptions to the ban on visits apply (with 3G regulation) for accompanying the dying as well as births and for "justified individual cases, provided that these have been approved by the doctors responsible for the department.
Visitors who have neither been vaccinated nor recovered and are allowed to enter the clinics due to exceptions, need an official negative test certificate (antigen rapid test not older than 24 hours, although this can only be carried out in exceptional cases in the clinics; PCR test not older than 48 hours).
“These regulations are intended to protect both patients and employees,” says Wucherer.
There are currently 53 corona patients in treatment in the entire hospital network, twelve of them in the intensive care unit.
There are currently 15 corona patients in the Mindelheim Clinic, three of them in the intensive care unit.
According to the RKI, the 7-day incidence in the Unterallgäu is 305.1 today.
