Yesterday (2nd) afternoon, Tseung Kwan O Police District, together with East Kowloon Tactical Unit, East Kowloon Stormtrooper, and Marine Eastern District officers searched for a serial burglar in Shangxiayang Village, Clear Water Bay, during which a suspicious man was found at a distance. But the other party ran away immediately.
Police search operations continued today (3rd), and roadblocks were erected at Wukuaitian on Clear Water Bay Road to intercept vehicles; police officers also stood guard at Shangxiayang Village and police vehicles patrolled back and forth from time to time.
The suspected burglary man was about 40 years old, about 1.7 meters tall, and of medium build. He was wearing a duck-billed hat, blue checkered shirt, dark trousers, and holding a two-foot long knife at the time of the incident.
During the operation, police officers found several items nearby, suspected to be stolen goods from a recent burglary in Tseung Kwan O.
