Corona outbreak in the Jordan Valley: The number of infected among foreign workers in the area has risen to 170.
At this point, there are another 344 workers sampled and awaiting corona testing results.
Recall, the outbreak was detected following a diagnosis of a corona patient at Poria Hospital last weekend.
It is estimated that the number of people who came into contact with the infected reaches 900, including 700 workers from China and another 200 workers from India, France, Moldova and Israel.
The same workers are at three sites: Beit Yosef, Ashdot Yaakov and Menahemia.
20 samples will be taken for genetic flooring to detect variants, and during the day a decision will be made regarding the isolation of the sick workers in the hotels.
663 new carriers
According to the Corona morbidity data published by the Ministry of Health this morning (Wednesday), 663 new carriers were diagnosed in Israel in the last day, which is 0.86 percent out of 80,736 new tests.
This is a low percentage of carriers detected, yet it is the highest percentage of carriers detected in Israel per day since last Thursday, October 28.
The number of active carriers in the country now stands at 7,447 people, among them 201 patients in critical condition and of them 120 respirators.
This is the lowest number of patients since last August 1.
The death toll from the plague since its inception stands at 8,106 people.
No one in Israel died of coronation yesterday.
In addition, the adhesion coefficient is 0.79.
This is a low coefficient of infection, but the highest since last October 7.
The number of people infected with the virus in Israel since the beginning of the epidemic is 1,331,931.
The daily immunization rate in the booster dose is about 7,000 people.
In total, the number of booster vaccines in the country stands at 3,967,603 people - about half of the population in the country.
From Kiryat Arba to Ashdot Yaakov: The situation in the red localities
According to the ministry, there are 53 verified cases in Kiryat Arba and an increase in morbidity has been identified.
Most morbidity is concentrated in a number of households where 6-5 patients.
Most of the verified are aged 11-7, some from the Jewish community in Hebron.
In one of the classes in the girls' school there are 21 verified and the whole class is in isolation.
In Gush Etzion, 14 verified people were reported infected during an annual trip, out of about 300 children who underwent tests.
It then turned out that the first patient, 14 years old, was not vaccinated - and it was he who infected the rest.
The only red locality this morning is Mevo Horon, where there has been a morbidity of 27 people in the past week, including 24 children (out of 2,700 residents).
The source of the outbreak was two elementary schools in the locality that operate as part of a green classroom, but so far only two classrooms have been closed.
In Beit Yosef there are 151 verified, in Menahemia 8, and in Ashdot Yaakov 1 (along with ten others that are in the process of being clarified).

Hundreds of children have already been vaccinated against the virus
Meanwhile, in Israel, children aged 11-5 are being prepared for vaccination: 468 children of these ages have already been vaccinated against Corona with special permission - 93 of them aged 6-5 and another 375 aged 11-7.
Although it is not yet clear if the issue of vaccinating children will be discussed and what the recommendations will be, the Ministry of Health estimates that there are 277,831 recoverers in this age group (22%) and another 963,588 (78%) left to be vaccinated.
The Ministry of Health is preparing to begin booster vaccination during the month for about 8,000 girls and boys who were among the first to be vaccinated.
