The suspect who confessed today (Wednesday) to involvement in the murder of the boy Nissim Sheetrit and indicted others, met on Monday with Sheetrit's brother, Meir, in a forest in the Jerusalem area.
According to those present, the suspect was in a state of emotional turmoil between the request of his rabbi, the head of the Shuvu Banim congregation, Eliezer Berland, to cooperate and tell about the case, and his lawyers' demand not to cooperate.
"We saw that he was torn between speaking or not. He realized that if he spoke he was complicating himself," Meir Sheetrit told Walla!
Sheetrit described the meeting with the suspect.
"When he got to the place, he said 'I know nothing, I know a little but leave me, what do you want from me, I'm a sick person.' The person understands that if he goes to prison he does not go out, and everyone understands that."

"If they find the grave, they will operate the most sophisticated laboratories," Sheetrit continued.
"The IDF has the capabilities to find the bodies of missing persons." He said, "The police are determined to close this story, including bringing a grave.
I believe this will happen in the coming days.
The police do not need the body to prosecute the people, if there are so many people who were involved and thanked in part, then what is there to play here?
You can start working and I think the police are doing it. "
About two weeks after the re-investigation, eight detainees and several other people were interrogated. The suspect, who today confessed to involvement in the act, has indicted two other suspects - a former associate of Herbarland and a son of a former minister.
Sheetrit, then a 17-year-old ultra-Orthodox boy, disappeared in January 1986 after arranging to meet Mike, a man he had met with and with his friends a week earlier.
According to testimonies and publications at the time, Sheetrit had been violently attacked earlier by the modesty guards operating at the time on the Haredi street.
Attempts over the years to locate Mike, the anonymous man, have stalled.
