The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, and the head of the Revolutionary Youth Union in charge of Ali Al-Abbas, discussed with the project team (The Wounded Al-Watan) how to provide the best services to complete and accomplish the tasks of each party in a way that ensures facilitating the educational process for the wounded in war operations and providing it in a manner commensurate with their physical, health and movement conditions.
The meeting that followed the joint cooperation agreement between the three parties determined the details of the next stage after receiving the requests of the partially disabled, who can now benefit from educational support for the basic and secondary education stages within the matrix of services for the wounded home.
During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Education building in Damascus, lists of the names of the wounded in the governorates were approved, whether from the partial or total disability segment. Communication with the accepted wounded and work on providing all their educational requirements such as curricula, educational courses, private teachers, stationery and others was initiated.
The Minister of Education confirmed that the Ministry will secure the curricula for the wounded and make available the examination centers and teaching staff necessary for the educational courses, and work is currently being studied to study solutions to conduct an exceptional probing exam for the wounded who were unable to apply during the period previously specified by the Ministry for free students.
While the Revolutionary Youth Union, according to the head of the organization in charge of his statement to SANA’s delegate, will contribute to investing in its affiliated centers, whether to establish educational courses or investing them as exam centers for free students and to open educational centers that include the best teachers for the wounded within their regions in the governorates in order to excel and be distinguished.
The Wounded Home Project stated on its Facebook page that it will, through its coordinators in the governorates, coordinate permanently with the coordinators of the education directorates and the Revolutionary Youth Union to solve and address problems that arise during the year. Exam back and forth.
The project aspires, through this agreement, to provide the necessary educational support for all wounded in war operations with a disability rate of 40 percent and above, in order to enhance their financial independence by introducing them to the labor market, doubling their opportunities for work and production, and providing a supportive environment to achieve their various academic and academic aspirations.
The meeting was virtually attended by the directors of education, the teams of the Wounded Homeland project, and the coordinators of the Revolutionary Youth Union in the governorates to secure what was needed before the actual launch to provide educational support to all the wounded in the war operations.
The Homeland Wounded Project, launched by the Presidency of the Republic in 2014, targets all the wounded in the army, armed forces and allied forces.
