Today, elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Hama governorate seized 500 kilograms of ration flour belonging to the gutter bakery in the city of Hama, intended for trafficking and smuggling to the black market.
Riyad Zayoud, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the directorate closed today 5 commercial activities for committing grave violations, in addition to organizing 30 catering seizures, which included charging an extra service allowance in exchange for transporting household gas cylinders to some distribution centers, practicing a profession without a license, and trading in fuels. Illegal, not declaring the prices of “clothes and shoes” and not possessing or granting regular invoices for vegetables, fruits and foodstuffs, as well as taking food and non-food samples for analysis and showing their conformity with the Syrian standard specifications.
