A so-called work quarantine has been approved by the Unterallgäu health department for a specialist who has tested positive but is symptom-free: She is only allowed to leave the house for the way to work with corona patients.

"The situation is incredibly stressful for everyone,"

says Ulrike Höchstötter, director of the St. Anna nursing home. “The remaining employees have to take over the tasks of the quarantined colleagues. They work to the absolute limit of their abilities, perform tremendously and are ready to adapt flexibly to the new situation on a daily basis, ”says Elmar Müller, general manager of the Dominikus ring iron factory in the Unterallgäu region, describing the tense situation. After coping well with the first three corona waves without an infection, you are now facing the biggest challenge since the beginning of the pandemic.
