She looks “happy and lively.

Blaine was one of the investigators who discovered little Cleo in the locked house.

Just a few hours after the discovery, the little girl was smiling happily at the camera, while little Cleo had an ice cream in her hand.

"I can only see her from the outside, of course," Blaine said.

"But from this point of view I am amazed that she seems so balanced and happy."

Missing Cleo from Australia: Background is still unclear - 36-year-old in custody

The exact background of the missing person is still unclear, a 36-year-old man was taken into custody at the same time as Cleo's discovery.

According to the Australian media, charges could soon be brought against him.

Investigators would therefore currently try to find out whether the girl had stayed in the locked house for the entire 18 days.

However, the suspect is said to have no connections whatsoever to Cleo's family.
