In Pui O, Lantau Island, a stray cattle crashed into a pedestrian road and injured a number of students.
At 9:33 am today (4th), the police received a report that a primary school student on South Lantau Road was injured by a bull.
At the scene, a vehicle was taken to film the incident. As seen in the CAM video of the car, a stray cow suddenly rushed out of the road and ran on the pedestrian road near Pui O Village, suspecting to chase another cow. At that time, a group of students gathered on the pedestrian road. The cow suddenly rushed to the student group, and a boy fell to the ground, injuring at least three people.
Upon hearing the news, nearby school staff rushed to assist. Police and ambulancemen arrived at the scene and sent 1 woman and 2 boys injured to the North Lantau Hospital for treatment.
The boy was injured and fell to the ground.
