Radio is more popular than ever, and the image of journalists presenting is changing On TV: Finally Network 13 Can Smile Walla! Through Direct Polls LTD, Brenze examined who the public perceives as a trusted presenter in Israel. Last part

Assaf Lieberman hence Network B and Ayala Hasson from News 13 are the most balanced and influential radio and television presenters in Israel - at least that is what the public thinks. The data emerges from a survey conducted by Shlomo Pilber and Tzuriel Sharon using Direct Polls LTD for Walla! Brenze, and tested the level of credibility of journalists from different coverage areas and from different platforms. The Walla! We chose to leave off the list.

In previous sections, we examined who the most reliable commentators in Israel are, who has the most influential weekly column in the written press, who is the leading corona authority, and who is the popular investigator.

But first, an introduction: in the last three years, the Israeli press has had to "deal" with 4 election campaigns and a global epidemic that is still giving its signals. During this period, the public need to have a good, high-quality and, above all, reliable press became more important to us than ever before.

Yes, everyone has opinions - and the position discourse is dominant: but this time we decided in Walla!

Brenze that the survey will not examine who shouts louder, who gets more likes, who is mouthed bigger and who tweets the best - and we chose to return to the mother base: who is the most reliable.

Who is perceived by the public as the non-biased reporter and the objective commentator.

And at the end of the long introduction, a methodological reservation: just as in political polls - one must remember that in the end, polls are also a limited, sometimes superficial thing, which does not necessarily faithfully reflect everything - and certainly biased and truthful for the time being.

We will also mention that many times, certainly when it comes to journalists - in the public eye there is not really a difference between credibility and popularity, as people tend to appreciate and admire those who are perceived as credible in their eyes.

We will also add that the list of journalists was compiled by Walla!

Brenze and Direct Polls LTD and it is possible that elsewhere a different list of names would have developed.

And yet, the line that guided us was an attempt to get a glimpse of how the top Israeli journalists are perceived by the general public.

More on Walla!

More traffic jams, more right-wingers: what is behind the data?

According to the survey, Assaf Lieberman leads by a large margin over competitors both in terms of reliability and in relation to the low percentage of those with a negative opinion.

Next on the list is Radio 103 presenter Erel Segal

Radio has become more popular than ever in the last two years, partly as a result of the corona effect that has led people to travel in their private vehicles and the congestion on the roads, which has increased the rate of traffic jams by 30% nationwide.

The average listener is currently in the car for an average of two hours a day, which increases the percentage of listening, especially for morning broadcasters - 7.00-9.00 and afternoon broadcasters 16.00-18.00. And Kalman here in Network B - Yishai Shenrav from the GLC was injured, as did Efi Triger in front of Aryeh Golan.

One way or another, according to the survey, Assaf Lieberman leads by a large margin over competitors both in terms of reliability and in relation to the low percentage of those with a negative opinion.

Next on the list is Radio 103 presenter Erel Segal (due diligence: the writer broadcasts with him once a week), who, although placed in a strip that is considered the least balanced, manages to settle second in the public influence table.

However, compared to Lieberman, the percentage of people who hold a negative opinion about faculty is almost similar to those who think it is objective and balanced.

This is probably due to his personality and the nature of his show - based on opinions and less on the news arc cold.

In general, you can see that Radio 103 (another fair disclosure: a member of the group that owns Walla!), Despite being a regional radio, manages to screw up and star in second, third and seventh places on the list.

Leading the gap.

The paradox of network 13

An interesting phenomenon was recorded among presenters of current affairs programs on television.

The top three in the ranking are Channel 13 reporters, and despite this, the channel lags significantly behind Rating 12. Also down the list - Sharon Gal and Amnon Levy are ahead of the old and well-known presenters of Channel 12, Dana Weiss and Rina Matzliach - the last in the ranking.

The sample was edited by Shlomo Pilber and Tzuriel Sharon using Direct Polls LTD for Walla!

Brenze, between the dates 25 to 26 August 2021, using a digital system combined with a panel, among 540 adult respondents (18+) from the entire Hebrew-speaking population in Israel exposed to radio and television communications.

Statistical sampling error + 4.5% + with a probability of 95%.
