How many people live in the Dachau district?
Is there enough living space?
Where are more kindergartens, schools or rather old people's homes needed?
In which areas do you need to invest more in the future?
In order to answer these and other questions, a census - also known as a census - will take place from May next year.
Dachau - With this nationwide census of the population, buildings and apartments, reliable figures are collected for Germany and thus also for the district of Dachau.
The 2022 census is extremely important as it provides planning figures for politics, business and society.
In the course of the household survey on a sample basis, around 16 percent of households in Germany are interviewed.
In addition, dormitories and shared accommodation as well as owners of apartments or buildings with living space are surveyed.
There is an obligation to provide information about the surveys.
The data is processed anonymously.
As in other districts and urban districts, a survey center has also been set up in the Dachau district.
This is responsible for conducting the 2022 census and is also the point of contact for inquiries.
Alexandra Reichel and her deputy Monika Zankl have been in charge of the survey center since July 2021.
The survey center is looking for around 200 interested citizens to work as interviewers within the framework of the 2022 census. The interviewers - so-called survey officers - conduct the household survey and the residential homes survey on site.
You will receive an expense allowance of around 700 to 800 euros and you can divide your time freely between May 2022 and the end of July 2022.
More information about the census and an online form for applying as an interviewer are available at www.landratsamt-dachau.de/zensus2022.
