The marathon of votes in the Knesset this morning (Thursday), and after the approval of the state budget for 2021, Knesset members are also expected to approve the budget for 2022 and the Arrangements Law.
Early in the morning, after three years, the budget for the current year was approved, by a majority of 61 to 59, at the end of a long voting night.
In doing so, the coalition has removed the immediate threat that is looming over it to dissolve the Knesset, so far three bills out of five have been approved, and now it will have to approve the budget for 2022 as well as the Arrangements Law.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett tweeted on his Twitter page immediately after the nightly vote: "A holiday for the State of Israel! After years of chaos - we have formed a government, we have overcome the delta, and now, God willing, we have transferred a budget to Israel! We are moving forward with all our might."
The coalition did not make a mistake in even one of hundreds of votes on reservations and various clauses, but during one night one vote was approved by a majority of 62 votes, after opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu mistakenly voted with the coalition.
During the night, Knesset members from the joint list did not vote with the opposition on the Likud party's reservations, thus giving the coalition more significant leeway in a large proportion of the votes.
In one of the votes, Shas chairman MK Aryeh Deri made a mistake and voted together with the coalition. Deri asked Knesset Speaker Miki Levy to change the vote, and the latter agreed.
The voting marathon continues.

The coalition started the voting earlier than expected to prepare for the possibility that the budget will not go through the voting.
The state budget for calculating the expenditure limit is NIS 432 billion for 2021, and NIS 452 billion for 2022. However, another NIS 10 billion was added for 2022 for dealing with the corona.
On the way to approving the current budget, coalition funds amounting to NIS 2.2 billion were agreed for the two budget years (880 million for 2021, and 1.22 billion for 2022), a decision that drew harsh criticism from the coalition that previously opposed the phenomenon.
In addition, a pool of NIS 150 million was agreed upon to finance bills that will be submitted.
In return, a horizontal cut of 1% was agreed in all government ministries.
