Bennett after budget transfer: "Tonight we put Israel back on track", in opposition condemned: "Pleasure-filled government" | Israel today

A few hours after the Knesset plenum approved the state budget for 2022, coalition members are responding to the success.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett tweeted immediately after the budget transfer: "Tonight - we got Israel back on track" while in the morning he tweeted: "Good morning Israel - there is a budget" under a picture of opposition members.

Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman said: "We have approved a budget that brings stability to the political system and clarity to the Israeli economy. Many thanks to everyone and Brock to the State of Israel."

Lieberman thanked all those involved in full and added with humor: "I want to thank Emily Moati that a budget without drama is not a budget."

Deputy Prime Minister Yair Lapid also tweeted the picture of the coalition members under the headline: "The Coalition for Change."

Defense Minister Bnei Gantz tweeted: "There are leaders in Jerusalem, leaders who know how to put Israel first. Leaders who know how to unite, put aside disagreements and do everything for you."

He added: "On a personal note, I feel that the budget transfer is a victory for the state, but it is also a personal victory for me."

Opposition groups called for a halt to the protests.

MK Aryeh Deri tweeted: "The government is full of pleasure, has passed on the tip of the iceberg, a bad budget that is all cruel and deliberate harm to the elderly, the weak and the residents of the periphery, and families with children.

"Shas will continue to fight with all its might, against an illegitimate government, headed by a man who does not pass the blocking percentage, a government that works for social destruction and the destruction of the Jewish character."
