Shaul Karni, 33, tried to murder 32-year-old Charlotte Alberado, his Colombian partner with whom he has a daughter, evaded punishment and then Charlotte was deported back to Colombia.
Her every attempt to return to Israel and prosecute him was unsuccessful and she was forced to give up.
Three years after the incident, Karni arrived at the police station and confessed to everything.
Now, Charlotte is struggling with her new partner - also an Israeli - to immigrate to Israel to be a witness at the trial, but the authorities are creating difficulties.
The story began when three years ago Karni pushed Charlotte from the balcony on the fourth floor of his house, in the locality of Etz Ephraim in Samaria, while their two-year-old daughter, Melanie, was lying in bed.
"I remember that evening like it was yesterday," Charlotte repeated.
"He jailed me for a whole day at home with Melanie and his sister's kids, and when he came back he was nervous and yelled at me. I suggested I go take his nephews back to his sister and get some air, he said 'really better.' "A friend to drink. Later in the evening he did not stop calling and asking where I was and asked me to return home."

"My friend brought me home and only when he made sure everything was fine did he drive away. Saul suddenly emerged with a car and clung to me. I was scared. I asked him 'Where is the girl?', He looked back smiling and showed the girl between the back seats on the floor, without a seat belt. "The doors and take her, he did not open for me. Charlotte rarely has headaches and memory loss, hand pain that barely works and she has difficulty walking properly. "I put the girl in bed on the third floor and Saul called me to hang a blanket on the balcony upstairs. It seemed strange to me but I was scared. I went up. The blanket was already hanging. Suddenly he became nice to me. He was interested in my well-being, had a small talk with me. It was strange. Nearly five, I remember that the muezzin started and I enjoy hearing this tune.I was standing on the porch ledge listening and suddenly he pushed me forward.It was not loud enough and I was scared.I asked: What are you doing? He replied: 'Laughing with you' and smiled. A few seconds "Then he lifted me off my feet and knocked me down. I woke up on the sidewalk broken and full of blood."
Despite the fractures in her body, and despite the fact that nearby houses had cameras, police investigators blame her for the fall when they tell her there are no cameras in the area that documented the case.
She is sent back to Colombia (after a struggle to get full custody of their joint daughter) where she is informed that the case has been closed for lack of evidence.
All her efforts to get answers out of the consulate in Colombia have failed.

One week ago, three years after the incident, Shaul Karni arrived at the Petah Tikva police and confessed to his actions. During his interrogation he admitted that he pushed his partner from the balcony on the 4th floor and that after being released from custody he staged a minor car accident to get to the hospital where the partner was hospitalized. So he started looking for her in the hospital wards to get her murdered. "He did not locate her and averted a disaster," the SJ District Police admitted, conducting the investigation.
"I do not know what made him do it," she says. . Authorities do not give approval. Ironically they say that Saul should approve me to immigrate to Israel. I do not understand it - the man who tried to murder me decides if I will come to testify in his trial? ".
Charlotte asked for a message if there were women who knew or knew Saul: "He is a lying and manipulative man. Beware of anything he says or promises. Look what happened to me."
She adds: "Women, you are much stronger than you think - take care of yourself and your children first, go out to work and be independent. Do not let any man control you because it will not end well."
