- A 55-year-old Erdinger suffered such severe burns on his legs, arms and upper body on Friday morning that he had to be flown to the Bogenhausen Clinic by rescue helicopter. According to the police, the man had lit his wood stove around 6:30 a.m. and used alcohol for it. The result was a flash of fire. According to its own information, the Erding fire brigade quickly extinguished the small fire, and the apartment in the city center was extensively ventilated.

In addition, the emergency services secured the landing site for the rescue helicopter in front of the fire station.

Lebzelterstrasse was completely closed for half an hour.

In addition to the Erding fire brigade, the BRK, the Erding police station, the municipal public order office and the Christoph Munich rescue helicopter were in action.

City fire inspector Markus Gebauer was in charge of operations.
