Today, the US authorities evacuated the buildings of "Yale" University in Connecticut, east of the United States, after receiving a report that 40 bombs had been planted in the vicinity of the university.
And American media quoted security sources as saying that “a person called the emergency center today and said that 40 bombs had been placed around the university campus,” noting that a number of university buildings had been evacuated and the area was closed to traffic and pedestrians in anticipation of any emergency.
New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker said, "The city police received a report of bombs at the university, which necessitated rapid action and the evacuation of its buildings."
"We take these threats very seriously," he added, "and look forward to tracking down the author."
