Two 16-year-old students have been charged with murder in the death of a Spanish teacher whose body was found hidden in a park in southeastern Iowa.
Nohema Graber,
who worked at Fairfield High School, a city of 9,400 people, was reported missing Tuesday and
her remains were found later that day in Chautauqua Park
, located 95 miles (153 kilometers) southeast of Des Moines, authorities reported Thursday.

His body was found hidden under a tarp,
a wheelbarrow and some railroad ties in the park where he used to walk in the afternoons.

The woman had been teaching Spanish for nine years at the school where the two young men accused of her death studied.
He previously taught in the Ottumwa School District.
The teacher "touched the lives of many students, parents and staff," the Fairfield School District said in a statement.

The students were indicted Wednesday as adults for murder
and
conspiracy
to commit murder in the first degree, the Jefferson County Police Department said.
They murder 11 people in Mexico, six were minors.

A planned murder
Police received a tip that Goodale had posted details about the murder plot and a possible motive on social media, according to court documents, which did not mention the possible motive.
Authorities found bloody clothing in the suspects' homes.

According to documents delivered to the court on Thursday, the youths still do not have lawyers.
Both appeared via video call.
Magistrate Stephan Small ordered a public defender to represent Goodale.
The documents indicated that Miller did not request a court-appointed attorney and it is not clear who would represent him at this time.
