Chain of fatal accidents:

Seven people were killed today (Saturday) on roads across the country.

At 00:21, a report was received of a road accident between two Palestinian vehicles on Road 60 between the small Yitzhar junction and the large Yitzhar.

The deaths of five Palestinian wounded were determined on the spot by MDA and IDF medical forces.

Gali Sofer and Sharon Shaked, MDA paramedics, said: "This is a very serious car accident.

Three of the vehicle occupants in their 20s who were unconscious and without signs of life suffered very serious injuries.

After medical examinations together with a military doctor their deaths were determined.

"Another man and woman who were fatally injured were treated on the spot, and after the resuscitation operations were performed, their deaths were also determined."

At 06:48, a report was received of a cyclist who was hit by a vehicle on Nim Boulevard in Rishon Lezion.

The man was evacuated by MDA staff to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead. Police suspect it was a hit-and-run accident.

MDA paramedic Tal Putterman said: "The cyclist was lying on the road next to the bicycle, unconscious and suffering from a very severe multi-system injury.

We performed medical tests, quickly put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital while performing resuscitation operations when his condition was critical. "

At 07:12, a report was received of a 50-year-old pedestrian being hit by a vehicle on Route 60 near Meitar.

He suffered a multi-systemic injury, and at the end of the resuscitation operations medics and paramedics were forced to determine his death.

Police officers who arrived at the scene detained the driver of the suspected vehicle.

Lidor Nir Shalom, an MDA paramedic, said: "The wounded man was lying on the side of the road unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury and a multi-system injury.

We performed medical tests and performed resuscitation operations, but his injury was fatal and in the end we had to determine his death. "

As you may recall, two men were killed in a head-on collision between two vehicles near the village of Darijat last night.
