: Crowds of people attended rallies to mark the day in Britain, South Korea, Indonesia, the Netherlands, France and Brussels.

In the center of Glasgow, the "Scientists' Rebellion" group chained themselves to each other and blocked one of the city's main routes, in order to draw public attention to the climate crisis.

"We are not here to speak to those in positions of power, they already know the truth about the climate crisis, but to the powerless who will raise their voices," said Tim Hewlett, co-founder of the Scientists' Rebellion group.

The march in the city marked the day, when according to the organizers at least 100,000 people participated in the march.

"One has to think seven generations ahead and not just about the immediate need," said one participant in the march and another added: "Unfortunately corporate interests are a top priority."

"This is a very large group of people who want to put pressure on the government to lead change. I believe this action works. It's amazing to see people from so many different organizations and parts of society fighting for the climate," added Rosin Grainy, a graduate student from Dublin.

Grain McGuinn, 22, made the voice of the disabled in protest, referring to the case of Energy Minister Karin Elharar, who was not included in the first day of the Glasgow climate conference due to an accessibility issue: "Sustainability requires accessibility," she said, adding: "Climate change is so "It is important, but the voices of the disabled youth are not heard. We have seen in the news how inaccessible a police officer is to the disabled representatives, this is the daily experience of all the disabled and it is so important that our voices are heard talking about climate change."

Vegan activists also took part in the protest, holding four inflatables in the shape of animals, each symbolizing a different problem in the animal industry.
