The 18 district councilors took the oath and the dust was settled. A total of 49 people from Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories were sworn by the DQ. The 329 district councillors who have resigned at present belong to the democratic camp for reasons related to the oath, and 49 people were DQ after completing the oath.
Xu Yingwei explained that some of them involved propaganda or support for Hong Kong independence, while others sought foreign governments or organizations to interfere in Hong Kong affairs.
After completing the ruling, "some cases" have been referred to law enforcement agencies: "I don't have specific figures. In short, I will refer them if necessary."
