As part of the project, 338 housing units near the Temple Mount were renovated with an investment of millions • "If You Will" and "Go to Jerusalem" organizations:

Nearly NIS 3 million has been invested in a fundraising campaign to renovate and repair infrastructure of Palestinian educational institutions and homes for residents of the Old City of Jerusalem who live near the Temple Mount, the chairman of the Jordanian Association of Engineers, Majed Al-Teva, reported a few days ago.

As part of the project, 338 housing units in the Old City were renovated, in which 1,698 Jerusalem residents live or study.

The information was published yesterday in the Arabic research division of the If You Will movement together with the Lech Jerusalem organization.

Response to the Balfour Declaration?

"This campaign is the Jordanians' response to the Balfour Declaration, which allowed the Israeli occupation authorities to establish a national home for Jews in Palestinian lands," Al-Teva explained after the success of the Jerusalem campaign.

The campaign sums up 5 years of strengthening and infrastructure work in Palestinian homes in the Old City.

Engineer Al-Taba added that "the campaign belongs not only to the Association of Engineers but to the entire Jordanian people, and it represents the feelings of the residents towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque," and promised to continue the activity throughout the year.

Iris Jarrar, the media woman on Radio Hayat FM, who sponsored the campaign and promoted it in the Arab media, said that "the residents of the Old City are the first line of defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Support for the families of the Old City brings us one step closer to prayer inside the mosque, so that we can soon broadcast and say from Al-Aqsa Square: 'We are in Jerusalem and peace be upon you, this is the news edition.' "Jarrar added:" Today we have strengthened the Jerusalem resident "For his opposition to the occupier, not face to face but with the help of the person facing him."

"Israel loses control"

It should be noted that Israel has been cooperating with Jordan in everything related to the day-to-day management of the Temple Mount for many years, and in particular since the signing of the peace agreement with it.

A coordination mechanism has also been established between the two countries, which deals with mountain affairs and the mountain's surroundings.

The If You Will movement and the Lech Jerusalem organization referred to the foreign Jordanian involvement in Jerusalem and said: "In recent years, the State of Israel has been losing control of what is happening in Jerusalem.

The breaking of Israel must not become the capital of foreign involvement of hostile states, whose purpose is to infringe on our sovereignty.

The Jordanians are deepening their agitation in the city to undermine the legitimacy and the Jewish connection to the capital.

The Israeli government must stop this involvement as soon as possible.

We addressed the issue to the Foreign Minister and the Minister of Internal Security so that they would stop the Jordanian invasion of Jerusalem. "
