Nearly NIS 3 million has been invested in a fundraising campaign to renovate and repair infrastructure of Palestinian educational institutions and homes for residents of the Old City of Jerusalem who live near the Temple Mount, the chairman of the Jordanian Association of Engineers, Majed Al-Teva, reported a few days ago.
As part of the project, 338 housing units in the Old City were renovated, in which 1,698 Jerusalem residents live or study.
