Many RAAM members seek to abolish the essence of the state as a Jewish state • The Bennett-Lapid government is now politically captive by a movement that is its way

The great journey is over.

The State of Israel has a budget and it is good that it did, but last weekend, when the lights went out in the Knesset, a new, extremely dangerous journey began: the journey of the Prime Minister to transform the State of Israel from the state of the Jewish people to a state of all its citizens. Intended for Jewish ears, party chairman Mansour Abbas spoke only a few months ago about his path, through "civil jihad": "When we talk about land, housing and house demolitions," Abbas explained, "is this a civil issue? It is a national issue that stood At the base of our struggle for our homeland! "

Abbas was decent enough to get even deeper into the matter.

He explained to his public what many in the Jewish public refuse to hear: "The Islamic movement started as part of the jihad families. But political experience has taught us that the Israeli reality is stronger than saying today that we want to take up arms and fight jihad. We aspire and we engage in jihad "Citizens. We maintain our presence in the country. We maintain our identity. We maximize our existence through knowledge and action."

This is how the Muslim Brotherhood party in Israel, which opposes Zionism, challenges the right of self-determination of the Jewish people in its historic homeland and maintains ties over the years with the most significant enemies of the State of Israel - Gaza, Turkey and other places in the world.

The signing of the coalition agreement.

The report of "Voters in Life" and "Up to Here" from last week presented documentation close to some of these contexts and established many of our other publications here in "Israel Today", and previous informative reports published by "The Securityists" and other sources.

Netanyahu paved a glorious road for the RAAM - and Bennett continued their civic discourse that Abbas and his friends draw from Islam, nationalism and Arabism.

When they talk about the state of all its citizens, they are not really talking "civilian."

They are not content with equal rights.

Many of the members of the RAAM and its affiliates want national rights in the Jewish state as well, and of course share a far-reaching dream: an Islamic caliphate. They want to abolish the essence of the state as a Jewish state and do not recognize it as such. Through it, and many in it support some of the goals of Israel's enemies and even maintain ties with them.

We must admit: The people who can give Bennett legitimacy to this horrific political cooperation are Benjamin Netanyahu and his people, who only a few months ago paved a glorious road for Ram and opened a large gate in front of it. Bennett and Lapid got on this road and entered through the open gate. You will sin against the truth.

It should therefore be mentioned again and again: Israel is the state of every detail in it;

Of each and every one of its citizens;

A civic home for all its citizens, but a national home - only for the Jewish people.

Israel is a Jewish state, in which only the Jewish people will find their right to self-determination.

The great historian Ben Zion Dinur, who also served as Minister of Education during the first years of the state, put it this way: "The Arabs of Israel have all the rights in the Land of Israel and no right to the Land of Israel."

There is no problem with Arabs in the government and also with non-Zionist parties. Some of the ultra-Orthodox, who have been partners in Israeli governments for many years, have long refused to define themselves as Zionists. The basis of the failure is in giving legitimacy - and both Netanyahu and Bennett have sinned in this - to political elements that seek to change the essence of the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people, to make it the state of all its nations and citizens. On the way they are still dancing tango with the worst of our enemies; Those who rise up against us every day for our brides here.

Prof. Ruth Gavison, who delved into the differences between the "state of all its citizens" and the "state of the Jewish nation," has previously stated: "It was justified to establish Israel as a Jewish state and justified to continue to exist as such. True," Gavison explained, "Israel must protect the rights of "All its citizens, to treat them fairly and considerately, and to take care of the well-being and welfare of the non-Jewish population - but this recognition does not mean that the Jewish character of the state must be abolished. The democratic character of the state also does not oblige it to shed its Jewish uniqueness."

Whoever made an alliance with RAAM and its metastases certainly does not intend to drag Israel into the districts that RAAM seeks to take us to, but he sinned by forming a political partnership with a party that if its representatives had participated in the vote to establish Israel in November 1947, they would surely have voted against it.
