Within the framework of Palestinian-Syrian solidarity in the face of the Israeli occupation, a Palestinian ministerial delegation today visited the occupied Syrian Golan.
The members of the delegation headed by the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Fatah Movement, Jibril Rajoub, stressed during their meeting with a number of national figures in the village of Bukatha the position of the Palestinians on the conspiracy being hatched against Syria and the support it provided to the Palestinian cause over many decades, stressing the solidarity of the Palestinian people with their Syrian brothers In the face of conspiracies being hatched against their country, such as division, terror, and weakening of the Palestinian position in support of Arab causes.
For his part, Palestinian Information Minister Ahmed Assaf said: “When I visit the Golan, I see the depth of the patriotism of the people of this land, their belonging and rooting to the land, which is confirmed day after day.” with it".
In turn, the national figures in the Golan affirmed the position of the people of the Golan and Syria on the Palestinian cause and the solidarity between the Syrian and Palestinian peoples.
During their visit to the home of the family of the martyr Medhat Al-Saleh, the delegation members offered their condolences for the martyr, as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Prisoners Ziyad Al-Wawi stressed the extent of the loyalty of the late martyr who lived and knew him inside the occupation prisons, stressing the need to stand by the prisoners of the Golan and his sons in support of their steadfastness in the face of the Israeli occupier.
The delegation also visited the house of the dean of the Syrian prisoners, Sidqi Al-Maqt, who confirmed that Syria will remain the kiss of the free and the sponsor of the Palestinian cause.
The delegation included Palestinian Ambassador to Damascus Samir Al-Rifai, Minister of Information Ahmed Assaf, Minister of Sports Issam Qaddoumi and a number of Palestinian leaders.
