The Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva last night (Friday) extended by ten days the detention of the three men who were arrested yesterday afternoon in Haifa, just before they committed an armed robbery, in front of frightened neighbors.
Among the three, Saleh Adon and Issa Abu Shenab, both 21 years old from Acre, are suspected of the offenses of armed robbery in aggravated circumstances and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Their friend Hani Rashid, 34, from the nearby village of Jadeida Makr in the Western Galilee, allegedly served as the getaway driver and claims that he only "took two people for a ride, took them off and continued his journey."
He is also suspected of offenses of forging vehicle identification marks, reckless driving and more.
They are held in segregation to prevent the interruption of the investigation.
Police claim that this is the fourth robbery in a series of similar robberies that have occurred in recent months.

In three different hearings, Judge Hisham Abu Shehadeh ruled that there was a reasonable suspicion that the suspects had committed what was attributed to them, including the police claim that they had participated in previous robberies in which weapons were used and large sums of money were robbed.
The arrest was made as part of the "Safe Track" operational activity and the national struggle to deal with crime in Arab society, in the crimes of online crime in the field of digital currencies.

According to the suspicion, the three suspects used to contact potential buyers of digital currencies via social networks, offering an exchange rate lower than the market price and enticing them to meet physically, in order to receive the cash and in exchange transfer the so-called digital coins to the buyers.
From the accumulated investigation materials, it appears that the suspects, who met with the buyers, committed a violent robbery against them using gun threats and robbed the cash without transferring the digital coins as promised in the transaction. Last week, such a robbery took place in Atlit, in which more than half a million shekels were robbed, near a school in front of frightened students.
The investigation is being conducted by the Israel Police and accompanied by the Cyber Department of the State Attorney's Office.
The cyber unit at Blade 433, which is continuing its investigation, has requested that the three be remanded in custody for 15 days.
Attorneys Wissam Arid, Ihab Zabidav and Shadi Dabah, representing the suspects, claim that things never were.
"Of course my client denies what is attributed to them," Dabbah told Walla!
The investigation is ongoing.
