Tripoli-Sana

The Libyan Presidential Council announced today the suspension of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Interim Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Manqoush, from work as a precaution, and referring her to investigation on charges of being single in the foreign policy file without coordinating with him, according to the outcomes of the Political Dialogue Forum.

The decision issued by the council today, and carried by the Al-Wasat Gate website, stipulated “to prevent Al-Manqush from traveling outside the country until the completion of investigations and a decision on the results of its work by the Presidential Council.”

The decision also stipulated the formation of an investigation committee with al-Manqush, provided that the committee presents the results of its work within a maximum deadline of 14 days from the date of its issuance.

The aggression of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) against Libya in 2011 left chaos in this country, in light of the proliferation of weapons and armed and terrorist militias.
