USA: At least 8 were crushed to death at the "Astrworld" festival in Houston

Authorities in Texas have reported many dead and injured in a performance by rapper Travis Scott, at the huge festival he runs and leads.

Tens of thousands of participants tried to get as close to the stage as possible, trampling others on their way.

At least 11 were evacuated to hospitals and hundreds suffered minor injuries

At least eight people were killed today (Saturday) in a stampede at the "Astrworld" festival in Texas in the United States.

According to authorities, crowds were injured when attendees at the opening performance of rapper Travis Scott, who founded and leads the festival, tried to approach the stage and trampled others on their way.
