A month ago, the country was in turmoil following an attack by police by members of the Hashmira organization affiliated with the Islamic Movement in Kafr Qassem.

"Israel Today" received new documentation that was revealed for the first time, from the body camera of one of the policemen, which shows the sequence of events until the development of the physical confrontation from the angle of one of the policemen.

Recently, indictments were filed against three assailants - Islam Taha (38) and Ali Issa (33) from Kfar Qassem, and Hamada 'Assi (24) from Kfar Bara - in the Magistrate's Court in Kfar Saba.

They are charged with the offenses of assaulting a police officer in aggravated circumstances, injury, threats, obstruction of a police officer and resisting arrest.

The incident began when police were informed that a man who was rioting in the city had been taken and imprisoned by people from the "Guard" organization.

The same person is defendant Hamada Asai, who was held in the municipal building.

The documentation shows a police officer arriving at the building and meeting the main defendant, Islam Taha, at the entrance.

Adv. Ran Stretzer, representing the defendant Ali Issa,

The policeman asked him where the man was, but Taha denied that they were holding anyone.

The policeman asked to see that there was indeed no one in the place who was being held against his will.

Taha closed the front door, stood in front of it and refused to allow the policeman to enter.

Taha told police: "You want blood in the village. You will not enter here."

The policeman said he would be forced to use force.

Taha responded: "Come move me by force. I want to see your power."

A police officer arrived at the scene and explained to Taha: "Once I have a suspicion, that there is an assault inside I must check. As soon as there is a suspicion that there is a person here who is in danger of life I must enter."

Taha also did not allow the officer to enter, saying, "There is no danger to life. I am in charge."

The officer tried to move Taha, but it resisted and threatened, "You will not touch me, lest there be a mess."

At this point another policeman intervened and attached an electric shocker to Taha's body and warned him to activate the shocker against him.

Suddenly Hamada 'Assi, the man imprisoned by the guards, opened the door from the inside.

The policeman used the shocker against Taha and a riot broke out, during which Taha punched the policeman.

Taha was stopped by police and shouted, "Why did he attack me? Why did he electrocute me?"

Assi also attacked one of the policemen.

The incident ended when the attackers were stopped and taken to the station.
