The branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent provided equipment and supplies for the maintenance of electrical equipment and water well submersibles in the Allouk project, which supplies the city of Hasaka and the western countryside with water.

The head of the organization's branch, Ali Mansour, said in a statement to SANA reporter that in order to support the Allouk water project to increase the quantities of water supplies to the city of Hasaka and the western countryside, the station was provided with two electric transformers with a capacity of 200 kVA, in addition to equipment for the periodic maintenance of the wells in order to increase the number of working wells In the project to reach 26 wells, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

For his part, the Director General of Al-Hasakah Water Corporation, Mahmoud Al-Akla, indicated that the maintenance efforts of the Allouk station, in cooperation with the Crescent Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross, are continuing with the aim of increasing the quantities of water produced in the project and ensuring the stability of pumping water to the subscribers, pointing out that the two electrical transformers provided were installed after replacing them with transformers. In addition to continuing efforts to maintain the submersibles, work is currently underway to install new equipment to introduce two new wells into service, bringing the total number of operating wells to 26.

It is noteworthy that the reality of water production at the Allouk station witnessed a stability in pumping to subscribers recently, after the quantities of water produced increased from 60,000 cubic meters per day to 70,000 as a result of the necessary maintenance carried out by the Water Corporation.
