An Iraqi political source revealed an Iraqi political move to hold a meeting between all the parties in the country to discuss the issue of the assassination attempt on Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and the results of the recent parliamentary elections.

The source told SANA’s reporter in Baghdad today that the head of the Al-Hikma Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, is leading a move to hold a national dialogue meeting during the next two days, which will be attended by the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the Supreme Judicial Head, Faiq Zaidan, and all leaders of the winning and losing political forces in the Iraqi parliamentary elections that took place in The tenth of last month.

The source explained that the aim of the meeting was to identify the circumstances of the bombing that targeted Al-Kazemi’s house at dawn today, as it had dimensions that threaten the political process in Iraq, which is going through a very dangerous situation in which the papers are mixed.

According to the source, the meeting will also discuss the repercussions of the disputed election results among the Iraqi parties.

Today, the Iraqi Prime Minister survived an assassination attempt by three drones, two of which were shot down by the security forces.
