Border Police fighters and civilian security guards today (Sunday) arrested a suspect who arrived with a knife at Qalandiya crossing.
The suspect who arrived on foot at the crossing, intended for vehicles in which border fighters and other security personnel are stationed, asked the forces to shoot her, the forces carried out a suspicious arrest procedure and at the end the suspect was arrested, a knife was seized during the search.
The suspect is a resident of the Qalandiya refugee camp in her 60s.
Along with the findings, she was transferred to the Border Police for questioning.
Only last Friday there were clashes with security forces in the village of Deir al-Hatab, Palestinian media reported that a Palestinian boy was killed in the clashes.
According to the Ministry of Health in Ramallah, the 13-year-old boy is Muhammad Dades from the Askar refugee camp near Nablus.
The ministry said in a statement that the boy was taken to the hospital after being wounded by IDF gunfire in his abdomen and suffering a cardiac arrest.
Medical teams were also reported to have performed resuscitation operations, but were forced to determine his death.
At the same time, the Red Crescent reported about 70 wounded during the riots in the Nablus area.
