The United States mourns the deaths of eight young people killed yesterday in a mass partition event at the Asterworld Festival in Houston, Texas.
Houston Mayor Sylvester Trent revealed this morning that two of the dead are minors aged 14 and 16.
The mayor also revealed that two 21-year-olds, two 23-year-olds and a 27-year-old were killed in the disaster.
Another death has not yet been identified and his age is unknown.

In addition, 27 people were hospitalized after the incident after suffering suffocation and septum-related injuries.
Of these, 13 are still hospitalized and about three are in critical condition.
The incident occurred during a performance by rapper Travis Scott, during which the audience began to squeeze towards the front of the stage.
Scott reportedly stopped his performance several times when he noticed fans in distress near the stage.
He asked the security guards to make sure they were okay and to get them out of the crowd.
Documentation from the scene of the incident showed young people calling for the singer to stop the show after the disaster began, their cries as a candle were not heard.
According to the Houston Fire Chief, "The crowd's crowding near the stage caused some panic, and it started to cause injuries. There were dozens injured. People started falling, became unconscious and it created another panic."
An audience of 50,000 people came to the festival, which was supposed to last two days.
In view of the tragic circumstances, the second day was canceled.
Snoop, Houston police announced that a security guard lost consciousness after he was injected with unknown material by an unknown person during the incident.
The horrific attack is not related to the disaster but the police expressed concern and called on others who suspect they were injected with unknown substance to complain.
