The number of daily infections with the Corona virus in Russia fell for the first time in five days to below the threshold of 40,000.
And the Operations Room to combat the coronavirus outbreak in Russia announced today that it had monitored 39,165 confirmed cases of infection during the past 24 hours, compared to an unprecedented jump of 41,335 infections the previous day.
The death toll from the virus rose during the last day in Russia by 1179 new cases, compared to 1188 deaths yesterday, while 26,806 patients recovered.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has recorded a total of 8,795,095 confirmed cases of corona, including 246,814 deaths and 7,561,978 cases of recovery.
