Astronauts have discovered that the SpaceX capsule that will carry them back to Earth will be without proper services √ The solution: the crew will have to wear diapers for the entire return journey that will last about 20 hours

Mankind has managed to do a lot in the conquest of space, but over the weekend we got a reminder of how much we humans are in total.

Astronauts on the space station have discovered that the SpaceX capsule that will carry them back to Earth today will be without proper services.

This means that the four crew members will have to wear diapers throughout the journey back to humanity - 20 hours.

The broken toilets were caused by a pipe that was not connected properly, which caused puddles of urine to form in the space vehicle.

But despite the lack of sanitation, it was decided that there was no safety issue and the capsule was declared as usable for the flight.

"Space flights are saturated with small and weird challenges," Megan MacChort, one of those returning today, said during a news conference Friday.

But as befits astronauts preparing for almost every possible scenario, she took it in good spirits.

"So this case is another one of those challenges. We are not so worried about that," she added, but described the situation as "suboptimal."

Following the incident, mission commanders decided on Friday that no new crew would be sent to the spacecraft until they returned.

The new crew will likely be launched on Wednesday, three days after the capsule of MacArthur and her friends falls into the ocean.

An unconventional task

In general, it can be said that the mission of MacArthur and her teammates in space has been unconventional, since they were launched on April 23rd.

They had to make space walks to take care of the space station's power supply, and there was also a particularly serious case where Russian astronauts tested the burners of the Soyuz spacecraft, during which the burners were operated longer than planned.

The station moved abruptly by tens of degrees, and an emergency procedure was even declared to make sure it would not lose its orbit around the Earth.

There were also entertaining moments, when the first film was shot in space, starring Russian actors.

They also managed for the first time to grow hot pepper in space and even used them to make tacos.

The astronauts return about two weeks before the 210 days that the capsule is allowed to be in space, according to the licenses it has received.

This is actually a second case recently discovered in a SpaceX capsule (the previous time was in a three-day launch in September).

For the following tasks, the company's staff will already have services that are designed differently so that the risk of leaks will be significantly lower.
