A 70-year-old was run over by his tractor on Saturday at around 11 a.m.

- According to the Poingen police, the farmer fell from his tractor for an unexplained cause.
He was run over in the chest area by the vehicle weighing over two tons.

The man's son heard the accident and hurried to see his father who had been injured.
The 70-year-old was seriously injured, but miraculously not life-threatening.
A rescue helicopter that had been requested brought the man to the clinic in Landshut.
The Poing police have started the investigation.
