claimed
to have “cared for three seriously injured people on site and transported them to clinics”.
Around 200 to 300 passengers evacuated from the train are currently being looked after in a hall near the Seubersdorf train station in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate, a spokesman said on Saturday afternoon.
110 Red Cross forces are on site, including crisis intervention teams to care for shocked people.
The Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation had previously reported on it.
The Red Cross spokesman did not comment on the identity of the injured and pointed out that the police situation was not yet over.
The hearing of witnesses is still ongoing.

Seehofer, who is in office until the formation of a new government, thanked the police forces and the train crew "for their brave efforts".
The CSU politician said the background to the cruel act was still unclear and had to be clarified.

Meanwhile, train traffic between Regensburg and Nuremberg is being diverted via Ingolstadt *.
