Marseille: hundreds of young people invade the sports center and degrade furniture

," lamented the municipality of Marseille.

Saturday afternoon, hundreds of young people invaded the sports hall of La Capelette, in the 10th arrondissement in order to destroy furniture, report

La Provence

and France Bleu.

The city has announced its intention to file a complaint.

According to local media, several groups of young people met at the doors of the building, which notably hosts the disciplines of ice hockey or skatepark, in order to force entry at the end of the afternoon.

They then invaded the various rooms, degrading palisades, scooters or decoration.

In total, ten young people were arrested, according to France Bleu.

This event comes as the state has promised to allocate up to 1.5 billion euros to the city, through Emmanuel Macron's plan "

".

The town hall expressed its indignation and condemned these authors who try to "

give with impunity for a few seconds of buzz a degraded image of our city

", according to Sébastien Jibrayel, deputy for Sports of the mayor (PS) Benoît Payan.

She will therefore file a complaint.

Incivism, violence disseminated on social networks by a small group of individuals in the sliding palace will not go unpunished
