A 56-year-old male patient received 3 doses of AstraZeneca and Fubital vaccines in the UK

The new case involves a 56-year-old man who arrived in Hong Kong from the United Kingdom via flight BA027 on November 1 and was quarantined at the Four Points by Sheraton Tung Chung in Hong Kong. He developed cough symptoms on November 4.

The patient received two doses of AstraZeneca in the United Kingdom on February 13 and April 27, and one dose of Fubital vaccine in the United Kingdom on October 31.

Singapore reports that close contacts of false-positive patients are allowed to leave the quarantine center

In addition, the center received updated information from the Singaporean health authority yesterday afternoon. A sample of a confirmed case in Singapore notified to Hong Kong was confirmed to be a false positive after review.

The case is an overseas confirmed case announced by the center on October 31, involving an 18-year-old male patient living in Ching Tak House, Tsz Ching Village, Tsz Wan Shan.
