Oimara Beni Hafner is now BRB's brand ambassador: "Very chilled, very relaxed ..."

The Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) is currently struggling with problems when it is starting a sympathy campaign - with Oimara Beni Hafner from Tegernsee and his BRB song.

- The idea for the campaign probably came about when the Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) was not struggling so hard with the consequences of the railway construction work.

And indeed, the BRB officials have carefully considered whether they should start the offensive now.

According to the motto “Now more than ever” they did it anyway, and so Oimara Beni Hafner from Tegernsee can now be seen across the board on large posters in the Oberland, and there is also a separate BRB song and video.

Song with a dash of self-irony

The Oimara as the railway company's brand message? The BRB managing directors Fabian Amini and Arnulf Schuchmann find it a perfect fit: "We are a friendly team, our employees live in the region and we want to demonstrate our solidarity with this large-scale campaign." : “Not always according to plan, but always with heart”, is the associated slogan.

Of course, the BRB bosses do not feel like laughing after the almost daily bad news that DB Netz AG brought them.

But gradually there is light at the end of the tunnel, and if you pull aside the problems you were not responsible for, the quality of the BRB can certainly be seen.

The introduction of the new fleet brought "significant improvements in quality, range and comfort".

This is also confirmed by the Bavarian Railway Company, according to the BRB press release.

"We don't have to hide, we can show that we have done our homework in the Oberland."

They also want to demonstrate this with the video. There the Oimara is stuck in a traffic jam in his car for the first time before he gets on the train and sings: “Very chilled, very relaxed, I'm driving through the Oberland…” With the guitar in hand and in different outfits, he prances through a Lint train , infects the other passengers with his good mood and sings again and again in the chorus: "I'm going with the BRB." Whereby he does not pronounce the letters individually, but we say one word, "brrr-b". An allusion to delays is of course inevitable. "When it comes to time, know for yourself, everyone is very sensitive, but mostly on time."

The almost three-minute video is available on the Internet at www.brb.de/oimara, and the railway company also wants to score points with a new motto: "The BRB - we love, live and move the Oberland." After the construction work is over, this movement will certainly be repeated easier.
