In its proclamation, the Moosburger Narrhalla not only introduced the new prince couple, but also revived the pubs after the "plague".

Moosburg

- “Carnival is alive”, sang the Irish boy band “Five and a Half Men” - and that's exactly what he did in its most beautiful form on Saturday in the Schäfflerhalle. The Moosburger Narrhalla had invited to the “Festa del Vino” to present the new prince couple and the court in 2022. Around 200 festively dressed guests accepted the invitation to reveal the secret of the new rulers and to dance their corona frustration out to the sounds of the band Cherry Pink.

Ex-Prince Wolfgang Mehringer led through the evening and was able to present the new prince couple at eleven after eleven.

Tanja Ottl and Christian Schweiger are called “Princess Tanja III.

von Hauserbau aus der Feldkirchner Au ”and“ Prince Christian II.

The princess, who is an administrative assistant in dentistry in normal life, comes from a bricklayer dynasty and has been with the Narrhalla since 2003, where she was already active as a guard girl, lady-in-waiting and show dancer.

Prince Christian runs a machine trade and works for the family company Saatgut Schweiger.

He has been with Narrhalla since 2012 and was a 911 for seven years.

Both want to celebrate full of energy, dance, laugh and ignite the carnival magic in Moosburg.

They are supported by ten enchanting dancers of the guard under the direction of trainer Pia Müller.

The 17 eleven councilors are responsible for vocal tributes and security tasks.

And also the Narrhalla offspring will delight the new ruling couple with their performances with the children's guard “Little Dream Hoppers” and the teenage guard “Funky Dancing Teens”.

First waltz to Bon Jovi's "Bed of Roses"

After the obligatory inaugural speech, Princess Tanja and Prince Christian were allowed to dance the waltz as their first official official act.

To the sounds of Bon Jovi's “Bed of Roses”, the two floated so gracefully over the parquet floor of the Schäfflerhalle that they were allowed to give an encore.

The duo then received a special kind of homage when the ex-princes present traditionally intoned the "harmony".

Not the first musical highlight of the evening, because the Narrhalla had kidnapped the guests at the introduction ceremony to the Irish "Moosburgertown".

There, after a terrible plague, the pubs like the “Hofburg Pub at the McHagls” opened again.

Despite a questionable new traffic layout, some talented artists had found their way into the pub.

"O-Timmi with the nimble fingers" (ex-Prince Tim Müller) amazed with his wine bottle increase.

The dance group “Green-Sheeps” (Pia Müller with six guard girls) provided momentum, putting them in the shade with their performance “Riverdance”.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The highlight of the evening was the Irish boy band “Five and a Half Men” (President Michael Ender and ex-Prince Thomas Goldes with four bartender 911s) with their song “The carnival is alive - Oh attack-tacke gemma gas”.

The boys were celebrated frenetically and couldn't avoid an encore either.

Certainly not the last in the Moosburger Fasching 2022, which celebrated a successful start on Saturday until the early hours of the morning.
