- Two beautiful events and one less beautiful have shaped the Attenkirchen carnival for some time.
And they all have to do with the prince couple, who were officially presented in the Bürgersaal on Saturday and presented themselves beaming to their people: Kevin I. and Jessica I. will swing the scepter this season.
With Sebastian II and Johanna I. you can also present a child prince couple in Attenkirchen.
Also a couple in private
Jessica Schmied and Kevin Baumann, who are also a couple in private, were already planned as a prince couple for the 2019/2020 season. But Jessica became pregnant, another duo had to be found. It goes without saying that the now 26-year-old office clerk and the 29-year-old technical officer in the German Armed Forces were then firmly planned for the 2020/2021 season. But then came the next corona wave, Mardi Gras fell into the water. So now the third attempt. Lo and behold: Jessica is pregnant again and will have her daughter during the fifth season. This time, however, said Narrhalla President Maximilian Lobmeier, the choice was made. Kevin I. and Jessica I. - she a born Attenkirchenerin, he actually from Au - will only take on representative tasks as scepter bearers. Dances, shows & Co.are out of the question for the duo. But, and that has never happened in the history of the Attenkirchener Narrhalla: In the coming 2022/2023 season, Jessica and Kevin will whirl around the floor, because the Narrhalla has already hired them for the next season.
For the offspring, Johanna Fröhnhofer and Sebastian Weingartner (at ten years old and both from Nandlstadt) rise to the children's throne.
Sebastian is an avid footballer, Johanna has always been a child and a fan of carnival.

The prince couples are supported by eight councilors, nine guard girls, 23 participants in the show dance and 45 active children and teenagers.
As always, the motto of the 2021/2022 Carnival in Attenkirchen is secret until the enthronement.
Lobmeier and the whole foolish people are optimistic that you can go through the carnival as planned.
But you are also flexible, emphasizes Lobmeier.
Two special birthday children
This was also impressively demonstrated on Saturday: Shortly before midnight, i.e. before the Corona traffic light turned yellow, the guests were escorted out of the hall: There, Mayor Mathias Kern had sparked champagne to share with the guests to toast his 40th birthday on Sunday after midnight of the proclamation.
Maxi Lobmeier was also celebrated, after all, he also had his birthday that Sunday - his 27th birthday.
