In an interview with Sana, Al-Tabbaa said that education and culture are two things that complement each other. A correct culture cannot be launched and expanded unless it relies on correct education, which begins in the first stage of education through linking with literature, stories and songs that draw the child to his homeland and strengthen his national affiliation, in addition to what the mother tells of Tales for her young children loaded with love, the child grows up unable to penetrate, then the role of culture comes to complete immunization in partnership with educational institutions to create a system for young people that gives them the ability to educate and take what benefits them and quit what distorts them.
Dr. Al-Tabbaa added: I have studied Damascus a documentary and methodological study and documented its historical transformations, and this was also printed in a book.. I completed two books, the first in the study of Jerusalem and the second in the study of Levant.. There are other researches that amounted to ten, and I have two printed books and the rest are under publication, all of which reinforce national affiliation.
The researcher Al-Tabbaa explained that he wrote and researched the history of Jerusalem, and a book was published for him on its civilization, its historical and religious rituals, its confrontation with the Zionist entity and the need to refute the Zionist narratives about the city.
The Minister of Education said: We have started to activate youth culture and children’s culture, and we have cooperated with many cultural activities with the Arab Writers Union, and we have launched competitions for children’s literature and youth literature, and we have carried out activities in cooperation with cultural institutions such as Al-Assad Library, cultural centers and Al-Quds International Foundation. them in the future.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Darem Al-Tabbaa is a researcher in history and its origins and is now the Minister of Education.
