Andrei Shevchenko returns to Italy.
One of the greatest strikers in the history of the Italian league, was today (Sunday) appointed the coach of Genoa, who opened the season in a not particularly impressive way (12th place with a single victory).
Shevchenko, who will replace Davide Bellardini, played in the Milan uniform at the beginning of the millennium where he became one of the best strikers in the world and even won with the Rossoneri the championship and the Italian Cup, the Champions League and even the Golden Ball in 2004.

In 2016, the Ukrainian began his career on the lines, when he was appointed assistant coach of the Ukrainian national team and later advanced to the position of head coach and even managed to lead the Ukrainians to the last Euro quarterfinals.
