In order to give the wild animal the necessary habitat and to prevent conflicts between humans and animals, there is professional beaver management.

On the other hand, Otterfinger Max Wolf has been a volunteer contact person for the citizens for years - and now there are three more volunteers for this task: Christian Fischer from Holzolling, Michael Zschaek from Weyarn and Karl Wirth from Holzkirchen.
In 2019, the district office advertised the position for volunteer beaver advisors. The pandemic has delayed training, but now the three men are ready. District Administrator Olaf von Löwis officially ordered them, presented them with the district's certificates and ID cards. "Beaver management is important in our densely populated, agricultural and forestry home, because conflicts between humans and beavers are inevitable," said the district administrator. He is very pleased that four motivated beaver advisors ensure a relaxed relationship between beavers and people in our district. "My appreciation goes to you for your voluntary and voluntary work."
The volunteer beaver advisors support the management at the Landkratsamt by solving a large part of the questions and problems of citizens and those affected in direct coordination with the Lower Nature Conservation Authority.
