- This could be a “hit”: In the Ampertal community of Allershausen, the first preparations for the introduction of the “Allershausen Market Days” are underway.

What was thought up and suggested by the newly founded local association of the Greens met with open ears from Mayor Martin Vaas (FW).

And both the ILE cultural area Ampertal and the eco-model region Ampertal are ready to help to make the idea a success.

The market days, according to the Greens' request, should take place between April and October on the first Saturday of each month from eight to twelve o'clock. The focus should be on regional and local producers, the offer should be varied and diverse. The market days in Haimhausen could serve as a model, said Mayor Vaas. He took up the idea of ​​the local Green Association, so the community started a demand inquiry in the Allershausener Nachrichten in order to check the possibilities for success: Who sees a demand on a monthly market day? What offers should there be? Who can imagine working as a provider, a helper or a buyer? The response, according to Vaas, has been "very good" so far. Over 50 responses were received in just a few days in the town hall,the deadline runs until November 30th. Because it should basically be a regional matter, one would of course bring the ILE and the eco-model region on board if the plans became concrete, said Vaas.

They are ready there, as ILE regional manager Nina Huber confirms: So far, she has only found out about it from the municipal newspaper, but of course ILE would be involved.

Especially since, as Huber reveals, another ILE community is planning something similar, so that intercommunal cooperation would certainly be beneficial to the cause.

And because of the “regional” focus, this project is “ideally” suitable for the eco-model region.

In short: you are ready.

That is a good thing, because Vaas has already set his sights on this path.

Of course, a few things still need to be clarified beforehand if the response from the query shows the need for market days.

For example, the question of the location: "Two to three" are currently in view, according to Vaas, who would, however, favor the fairground: parking spaces, power supply - everything is there.

And the mayor emphasizes that there is not much work to be done in the community.

Reason: The organization of the “Ampertaler Markttage”, if it should happen in the coming year, will be taken over by the local association of the Greens.
